With approximately 30 feet of annual snowfall in the Saint Joe Mountains, fresh tracks are our specialty. Our 13,000 acre permit (more than double the size of Vail or Big Sky ski areas) includes a wide variety of terrain, ranging from open bowls and glades to cliffs and steeps. Slope steepness ranges from 25-45 degrees. Each run is unique and can accommodate those who want to let it rip on wide open terrain like Full Throttle, go steep on the North Face, or get air on Bumps, Jumps–n-Stumps! Run choices are based on the ability of the group and the best snow conditions. Some of our most difficult terrain is found within the wilderness study area included within our permit. Unfortunately, for now, that means no snowcat access; however, it does reserve some amazing terrain for guided backcountry touring for those willing to earn their turns.
